The Narsingdi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) is a legitimate trade organization recognized by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Bangladesh. It was established in 1988 through the collective efforts of local businesspeople. NCCI stands as an exemplary non-profit, service-oriented organization and has grown to become one of the leading A Class chambers in the country. Similar to other chambers, NCCI comprises businesses, companies, and corporate entities involved in various sectors such as trade, commerce, industry, agriculture, and manufacturing.

Since its inception, the Chamber has experienced rapid growth and currently boasts nearly 4,000 members, including large, medium, and small enterprises. The elected representatives of NCCI actively engage in various administrative and community activities within the district, contributing to both social and institutional development.

Members of the organization are granted initial membership certificates, and there are two membership categories: General and Associate, in accordance with government regulations. The Chamber is overseen by a Board of Eighteen Directors who represent the diverse classes of membership. From this Board, a President, a Senior Vice-President, and a Vice-President are elected for a two-year term, with the President serving as the Chief Executive of the Chamber. The Board of Directors is further supported by several Standing Committees focused on crucial business-related topics and a fully staffed Secretariat.

All of the organization's activities are conducted in compliance with the association's rules, which have received approval from the Ministry of Commerce. NCCI regularly hosts seminars, training sessions, and other events aimed at enhancing business practices and member development.
